Mr. Helsinki Restaurant and Wine Bar was originally started as a Crépe restaurant with a check-off menu where the diner chose each item that they wanted in their Crépe. With time the menu started evolving into its present concept. With the addition of the Bang Bang Chicken, a spicy Thai style peanut stir fry, Mr. Helsinki took a turn towards the 'exotic.' Birch Creek Music Performance Center is a summer music school in Door County, Wisconsin, for advanced young musicians. Each year over one million people visit Peninsula State Park. Considered Wisconsin's most complete park, Peninsula offers 468 campsites, three group camps, a summer theater, an 18-hole golf course, sand beach, bike trails, a lighthouse and eight miles of Door County shoreline. The rollicking waves that skip towards Peninsula's sky high bluffs enhance already spectacular scenery.

Whitefish Dunes State Park, established in 1967 to protect the fragile dune environment, is an 865-acre day use park on Wisconsin’s Door County Peninsula. It's part of Wisconsin's Northern Lake Michigan Coastal Landscape. Stroll along Lake Michigan, watch waterfowl at Clark Lake, use the boardwalk to discover the wetlands or relax on one of the many trails throughout the forested sand dunes and beech forest. Trails are open year round, and 8 miles are groomed for skiing in winter.

Cave point is a popular site seeing stop for tourist who know the area well. It is often missed by many because it is a County Park and not a State or National Park. This does not mean that the view here is not spectacular because it is. It is known for its underwater caves and wave-worn limestone cliffs by fisherman, scuba divers, photographers and nature observers. It has picnic tables, cooking grills, fire rings, a well and new restrooms built in 2002. The road is blacktopped and the trails have had gravel put down for easy walking. Look for the signs on Highway 57. It is just North of Whitefish Dunes State Park.

The Ridges Sanctuary is a 1,600 acre pristine natural area located in Door County, Wisconsin. Formed in 1937, it’s the oldest private nature preserve in the state. The Ridges is designated as a State Natural Area, a National Natural Landmark, an Audubon Important Birding Area, and a Wisconsin Wetland Gem. The Sanctuary is open to the public year-round, and features native wildflowers along its five miles of rustic trails and bridges. Naturalist-led tours, youth and family programs, and a weekly lecture series highlight the summer season. Snowshoe hikes and family programs are featured during January, February and March. The Nature Center featuring a wide variety of quality nature-related books and gifts, is open mid-May through mid-October

Newport, northeast of Ellison Bay, is Wisconsin’s only formally designated wilderness park. With 2,373 acres and 11 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline it offers quiet alternatives to bustling Door County.

Perched on a bluff 76 feet above Green Bay’s glistening waters, Eagle Bluff Lighthouse’s lamp brought solace to many a sailor suffering through a storm’s gale or the dark of night. And today the tradition of the lighthouse continues. Restored to its past glory, Eagle Bluff Lighthouse Museum is a tribute to the keepers who kept the lamp lit on many a dark and stormy night.
