Please note that some policies are specific to Cottage rentals.
Rates shown are for two people and are subject to change without notice. Quoted rates are guaranteed rates - and upon receipt of your deposit, a confirmation will be sent.
Cancellations: Inn Room refunds will be made on cancellations received 14 days prior to the reserved date. Cottage refunds will be made with 21 days prior notice. Deposits on cancellations with less than the required notice will be refunded only if the space is re-rented. Moving an existing reservation to a future date is considered a cancellation. Refunds are not available for late arrivals or early departures. Reservations for a single night stay require a 100% deposit. Reservations for parties of 3 or more units (Inn Rooms and /or Cottages) for the same dates require a 100% deposit which is non-refundable (notification prior to the deadline is not honored). A cancellation fee of $25 per room/cottage booked is subtracted from all refunds.
Cottage Guest Rates: Add $20 per night or $100 per week for each additional adult and $5 per night or $25 per week for each additional child (17 years and younger). There will be a charge of $40 per night for each "unexpected" guest.
Cottage Towels: Cottage guests are required to bring their own bath and hand towels, wash cloths and beach towels. A bathmat and kitchen towels are provided.
Parking: Free parking is available along the street in front of the property. Only one space per Cottage and Inn room is available. Guests who bring more than one car, boats and trailers are required to park these additional vehicles off the property. Public parking is located just one block down the street.
Cottage Housekeeping: Cottages do not come with daily housekeeping service. On rentals of more than one week, housekeeping is provided at the end of each week.
Breakfast: Due to facility restrictions and state licensing, breakfast is served only to guests staying in the main Inn. Cottage reservations do not include breakfast.
11% Sales and Room tax will be added to all stays.
Deposits: A deposit of 50% is required within 5 days from the date the reservation is made. Reservations for parties of 3 or more units (Inn Rooms and/or Cottages) for the same dates require a 100% deposit which is non-refundable. Reservations for a single night stay require a 100% deposit.
Accepted forms of payment include: Personal checks, cash, and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover).

Minimum Stays: Weekends - 3 night minimum (Saturday + 2 nights) apply to all weekends from June 17 through October. 3 night minimum applies to Cottage rentals on all days June 17 through the first 3 weeks of August. 2 night minimum required on all other stays.
Smoking is not allowed inside any of the buildings. Smoking is permitted on decks.
Children are welcome in the Cottages.
Firewood is available for purchase by Cottage guests.
The burning of candles is strictly prohibited in all main Inn rooms and Cottages.
Gift Certificates: We accept the following gift certificates - Thorp House Inn, Door County Visitor Bureau, and BedandBreakfast.com. We do not accept Wisconsin Bed and Breakfast Association (WBBA) gift certificates.
Pets: We no longer accept pets at our property.
Wireless Service: We have invested in wireless service with additional "extenders" to service all Inn Rooms and Cottages. We are pleased to offer this service but ask that guests be able to configure their computers to work on our network. Tech support is not available.
