Door County Half Marathon
May 5, 2018
The entire half marathon is run on paved surfaces in Peninsula State Park. This U.S. Track and Field certified course starts and finishes near Nicolet Beach. The course winds through the park, giving runners breathtaking views of the water, shaded areas through the woods, challenging hills and ever-changing scenery throughout one of Wisconsin’s most popular parks.
Concerts in the Park
Tuesdays mid-June to mid-August, 2:30pm
Fish Creek’s summer concerts can be heard on Tuesday afternoons at 2:30pm at the Noble Square Park from mid-June to mid-August. Grab a chair or a blanket and settle in to enjoy the vast variety of entertainment! These concerts are free and offer an opportunity to relax and enjoy the scenery of Fish Creek. Music ranges from blues, classical, jazz and more. This family fun experience allows for music lovers to see the wide talent that surrounds our peninsula.
Summer Fest Concert and Fireworks

Come celebrate our country’s Independence on the picturesque waterfront of Fish Creek. Clark Park is the stage for the Fish Creek Summer Festival and Fireworks. It’s good old-fashoined fun for the entire family. Festivities begin at 4 PM and culminate with a spectacular fireworks display over the bay at 10pm.
Door County Plein Air Festival
July 22-28, 2018
Hosted by the Peninsula School of Art in Fish Creek, this is the largest outdoor painting festival of its kind in the Midwest. Nationally recognized artists from around the country will be seen creating their paintings throughout Fish Creek and the rest of Door County. View their work and interact with the artists as they capture the diverse beauty of Door County. Both public and private ticketed happenings bring featured artists together with art appreciators.

Jack O'Lantern Days

It’s a hometown Halloween celebration at Fish Creek’s annual Jack-O-Lantern Days. This family-friendly weekend highlights mask making for kids; pumpkin carving; a haunting Halloween parade; trick-or-treating; costume parties for kids, adults, and dogs; and more!
Fish Creek's Progressive Dinner Weekend
A MOVABLE FEAST is the best way to describe a gourmet dinner which begins at one of Fish Creek’s historic inns for appetizers, then moves to a second for the main course and concludes at a restaurant for dessert. The Progressive Holiday Dinner Weekends are hosted by the Thorp House Inn, White Gull Inn and Barringer’s Restaurant. Three are scheduled for December 2018: the weekends of Friday and Saturday, November 30 & December 1, December 7 & 8, and December 14 & 15. A fourth Holiday Progressive Dinner Weekend is scheduled for the weekend of January 4 & 5, 2019. The Thorp House Inn and White Gull Inn are planning memorable weekend packages, culminating Saturday evening in a five course dinner complete with wine and live music, as you tour the inns, both bedecked festively for the holiday season. As Fish Creek’s longest-standing tradition and Door County’s most notorious winter event, the Festival features live music, quirky games, delicious food, the notorious “Fruit Loop Fun Run,” an entertaining Stumpf Fiddle Contest, a spectacular fireworks display and a “Smokin Hot” Chili Cook-Off…all under a heated tent overlooking the frozen waters of Green Bay.
