Alexander’s – a local favorite, specializing in seafood, hand-cut steaks, black Angus beef, soups, and original creations, as well as homemade pastries and desserts from the in-house pastry-chef. There’s something for everyone.

Blue Horse Beach Café – just a short walk down the street, this café serves early morning coffee and espresso drinks. Breakfast options include a variety of hot sandwiches and pastries, while the lunch menu includes freshly-made sandwiches, salads and soup of the day.

Barringer’s – owned and operated by JR Schoenfeld, owner of Chives Door County in Baileys Harbor, Rye in Appleton and Chives in Suamico. Barringer’s integrates their signature style with a Wisconsin supper club and steakhouse experience. Located in downtown Fish Creek, this restaurant’s bar serves craft cocktails and opens to an outdoor seating area, featuring a large wood-burning fireplace.

Whistling Swan – located in downtown Fish Creek, this restaurant explores contemporary American cuisine to create bold flavors, a diverse selection of locally foraged produce, wild game, local freshwater fish and saltwater fish flown in from distant locations. It also boasts an impressive selection of wines as well as twelve beers on tap from Hinterland Brewery and regional craft breweries.

Wild Tomato – with two locations, one in Fish Creek and the other in Sister Bay, this is a favorite of many Door County visitors. Their specialty is their made to order pizzas created with fresh hand tossed dough topped with their special cheese blend and cooked in a wood-burning oven. Gluten-free pizza crusts are available.

White Gull Inn – winner of Good Morning America’s Best Breakfast Challenge with their famous Cherry Stuffed French Toast, this iconic Fish Creek restaurant features traditional Door County fish boils and candlelight dinners. The White Gull Inn also partners with the Thorp House Inn for the Fish Creek Holiday Progressive Dinner held annually in December and January.

Beyond Fish Creek

Wickman House – with a rich history of the Griffin Inn and T Ashwell’s housed in this beautiful three-story building located in Ellison Bay, this restaurant strives to stay true to the property’s original purpose by focusing on sustainable agriculture. It features a menu inspired by fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms and gardens. In 2013 a large garden plot was created onsite and the restaurant now sources many of its key ingredients right from its own backyard. The Wickman House specializes in hand-crafted cocktails and an extensive wine list. The service is nothing less than amazing. Reservations recommended.

Trixie’s – the “little sister” of the Wickman House located in Ephraim, this restaurant appreciates the efforts of growers and winemakers who have a commitment to sustainability. Female winemakers are featured on their menu in an effort to promote a growing female presence in the industry. Produce, dairy and meats are sourced locally whenever possible and everything is created from scratch, in-house. The ambiance is magical as well as the wonderful ladies who work there.

Chop – a family-owned and operated steakhouse located in Sister Bay, this restaurant features a display kitchen, wine bar and indoor and outdoor seating. The menu focuses on classic American steakhouse cuisine and with the highest quality steaks, fish and seafood. The second story deck offers a water view with beautiful sunsets and features an outdoor bar.
